DG’s rhythm section is realized by Theo, a native of East Germany, where he grew up listening to gospel and Bach.  He plays the stringed instruments (guitar, bass, cello) and sends vocal bass, vocal percussion and live loops to the speakers.  Theo arranges much of the material that Dissonant Grace performs.  As a member of various vocal ensembles Theo has performed in Spain, Taiwan, Central America and South Africa; in venues including the Birdland in Hamburg and the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva.  Theo also works as a sound engineer and has been responsible for the live-sound of Jamey Haddad and the New York Voices among others.  For more <click here>.
